WA's Public Transport Authority is seeking mural artists for its 2026-2029 Urban Art Program to enhance public transport environments.

Following the success of the 2024–25 program which transformed more than 2,100m² of public transport infrastructure through nine large-scale murals by twelve artists the Public Transport Authority (PTA) is now inviting artists to apply for pre-qualification for the Urban Art Program 2026–2029.

Invitation for pre-qualification are open to mural artists with a connection to Western Australia, welcoming applications from artists at all career stages based locally, nationally and internationally.

Over the next three years, the program will commission a new series of murals that celebrate creativity, support artists and enhance public transport environments across Western Australia.

Successful applicants will become part of a pre-qualified artist register, providing access to future mural commissions delivered through the PTA Urban Art Program.
