Tender description
Background The Public Transport Authority (PTA) seeks the services of an appropriately experienced and qualified service provider to provide facility management services at its PTA non rail facilities. The current contract for the provision of these services expires on 31 December 2026. It is anticipated that a new contract for these services will commence from 1 January 2027.
The Transperth Infrastructure & Systems Branch is responsible for delivering facility management and capital works as it relates to its core business of bus passenger transit services. To support the public transport services, the PTA maintains a significant number of facilities:
26 Metropolitan sites that include a combination of: Bus stations; Layovers; Jetties; Information centres; and Security compound. 29 Metropolitan bus depots / land holding - planned sites. 9 Regional bus depots. The primary purpose of this procurement is to ensure that Transperth’s non-rail facilities are properly maintained through a Facility Management contract arrangement. In recognition of the flexible nature of the public transport system, the style of the contract is intended to facilitate changes to meet public demand that may be required throughout the period of the contract.
Scope of Requirement and Specification The successful Respondent will be required to provide a comprehensive range of facility maintenance services comprising:
Planned Maintenance Services; Routine Maintenance Services; Breakdown Repair Services including a requirement for a 24-hour emergency call out capability 365 days a year; and Capital and Minor Works Services.
