Tenders sought for court upgrades at Bayswater Primary School, including drainage, line marking, and Acid Sulphate Soils management.

Programmed Facility Management Pty Ltd (PFM) on behalf of Department of Housing and Works (DHW) and Department of Education are seeking tenders from suitably qualified and experienced contractors to undertake Court upgrade at Bayswater Primary School.

The Work includes but is not limited to provide Court upgrade.

•Contractors are to allow a $10,000 provisional sum for repair of drainage should it be damaged during excavation or found to be unsuitable

•Line markings on court to include basketball, netball and team games (dots).

•All temporary fencing used for the work site, and associated skip bin or laydown must be 1.8m in height

•Preliminary costing to allow for temporary fencing and ground service scan

•The site is identified as having moderate to low Acid Sulphate Soils risk. In line with standard self-assessment tools developed by the Department of Planning, Lands and Heritage, all construction and development on site shall recognise the risk and monitor any potential exposure of Acid Sulphate Soils. This should be addressed in the Safety Management Plan provided within the contractors submission.

•Program of Works to allow for 8 week curing time prior to acrylic surfacing and/or line marking being applied, as per Department of Education Primary School Brief guidelines

•Program of Works to reflect project specific applicable hold points to allow the Superintendent to review works prior to proceeding
