📊 Power BI Reporting Development

Westport (DoT) awarded a contract to DataDivers.io for Power BI reporting development, automating data for executive and steering committee reporting.

Westport has recently completed an engagement to uplift its program reporting capability converting from a PowerPoint style to Power BI reports. Westport’s current reporting capability draws on manual data extracts from systems such as Quickbase or excel worksheets. To meet immediate reporting obligations to the Executive Leadership Team and Steering Committee, the Program Controls Team had a basic Power BI dashboard created. Westport has now endorsed the next phase of development to automate the ingestion and transformation of this data at regular intervals, enabling a variety of audiences to access and drill down in these dashboards at, and in between, monthly Executive Leadership Team and quarterly Steering Committee meetings. To support this next step, as well as future data and analytics use cases more broadly at Westport, the Program Controls Team has procured specialist capability to establish a foundational data platform, integrate applicable program reporting data sources, migrate and enhance the recently developed dashboards, and establish self-service functionality for ad-hoc data extraction and interrogation.

The Department of Transport and Major Infrastructure awarded a fixed-price contract valued at $71,379 to DataDivers.io (Data Divers Pty Ltd) via the CUA CUAICTS2021 - Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Services Common Use Arrangement (CUA).
