Tender description
This Request is for the delivery of the Family and Domestic Violence (FDV) Caring Dads Program (Caring Dads) in the following three (3) locations: Perth Cannington Bunbury The expanded locations identified aim to provide increased coverage of the Caring Dads program across the Perth and Southern Corridor. Caring Dads will contribute to the achievement of Communities desired outcome that people who have experienced or are at risk of experiencing family and domestic violence are and remain safe and falls within the service delivery area of Preventing and Responding to Family and Domestic Violence. Caring Dads aligns with the core outcome of Preventing and Responding to Family and Domestic Violence as it directly targets fathers who use violence, works to reduce abusive behaviours, and increases the safety and wellbeing of children and mothers. It does this by addressing the drivers of FDV, improving accountability, and strengthening respectful parenting practices. The overall outcomes of this initiative are to: Reduce Perpetration of Violence Targets fathers who use violence or coercive control; Focuses on ending abusive, controlling, and neglectful behaviours; and Helps break cycles of violence through accountability and behaviour change. Enhancing Child Safety and Wellbeing Improves fathers’ emotional regulation and parenting practices; Reduces children’s exposure to harm and conflict; and Strengthens children’s emotional safety and stability. Support Mothers Shifts responsibility for safety back onto the father using violence; Reduces conflict and risk for mothers; and Promotes safer, more respectful co?parenting. Addressing Gendered Drivers of Violence Challenges entitlement, control, and harmful masculine norms; Confronts emotionally abusive and hostile behaviours; and Works within a gender?based violence framework. Evidence?Based Behaviour Change Demonstrates measurable improvements in behaviour and emotional regulation; Increases insight into the impact of violence on children and partners; and Shows sustained positive change over time. Integrated System Response Delivered in partnership with police, child protection, and FDV services; Supports coordinated risk management and information sharing; and Strengthens whole?of?system responses to FDV.
