WA Health Services are procuring anaesthetic workstations for continuous and safe patient care, establishing a supplier panel across three categories.
Tender description
Western Australian (WA) public Health Service Providers (HSPs) including East Metropolitan Health Service (EMHS), North Metropolitan Health Service (NMHS), and South Metropolitan Health Service (SMHS) have a requirement for anaesthetic workstations.
Anaesthetic workstations comprise:
Anaesthetic Machines, Physiological Monitoring Systems, and Central Monitoring Stations. The anaesthetic workstations (machines and associated monitoring systems) are important to ensure continuous and safe patient care during routine and emergency surgical procedures.
The proposed procurement will seek to establish a panel of suppliers to provide Anaesthetic Workstations under the following three (3) categories:
Category 1 – General Purpose Anaesthetic workstations Category 2 – High Acuity Anaesthetic workstations Category 3 – MRI Anaesthetic workstations The scope of each category is anticipated to include the provision of equipment, associated accessories, consumables, training and support services.
In addition, the proposed procurement may also include a requirement for optional network infrastructure to support central monitoring and potential future integration with the WA Health Electronic Medical Records (EMR) environment.
The proposed contract will operate as a standing offer arrangement (Head Agreement) with orders (Customer Contracts) being placed on an ‘as required' basis over the term of the contract.
The proposed procurement is anticipated to be advertised July/August 2026.
