🚨 Multi Hazard Awareness Campaign
Summary
DFES awarded Rare Creative Thinking a $390k contract for a multi-hazard awareness campaign (bushfire, cyclone, flood, storm) for 2026/27, with extensions.
Tender description
The purpose of this request is to deliver the 2026/27 multi hazard awareness campaign. This would be a statewide campaign platform which includes bushfire, cyclone, flood and storm, as well as a hazard-neutral ‘always on’ element. Upon extension of the contract, the successful Respondent would work with DFES to refine the campaign approach in years two (July 2027 - June 2028) and three (July 2028 – June 2029) based on: any required adjustments to the strategy, creative and media planning based on the results and evaluation of the previous campaign period; and/or any changes to seasonal outlook in WA or the natural hazards/emergency services environment; and potential requirement to align with a national ‘Get Ready’ preparedness framework which is in development and has started to be rolled out in Queensland
