Tender description
The Department of Treasury and Finance (the Department) is seeking to establish a whole of government standing offer for Interpreting and Translating Services (CUAITS2026). The proposed Common Use Arrangement (CUA) will enable State Government agencies and approved buyers to purchase interpreting and translating services, to enable equitable access to public services and support effective communication between agencies and individuals from diverse backgrounds. The proposed CUA will include categories, currently available under Interpreting and Translating Services Common Use Arrangement CUAITS2017.
The current CUA (CUAITS2017) consists of the following categories:
Category A: Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Languages (CALD)
Category B: Aboriginal Australian Languages
Category C: Australian Sign Language (Auslan)
The proposed CUA may include revisions and/or enhancements to these existing categories, and the scope will reflect the business requirements of State Government agencies and approved buyers. The estimated panel term is for up to 5 years, with an initial Head Agreement Term of 3 years.?There will be one 2-year option to extend the Head Agreement Term, at the discretion of the Department.
The Department intends to commence the new arrangement immediately following the expiry of CUAITS2017.
It is anticipated that the Request will be advertised and available for download in Quarter 3 of 2026 (July to September 2026), on Tenders WA. Respondents will be given a minimum of four weeks to submit an Offer via Tenders WA.
