These regulations amend the Mining Regulations 1981. Changes include amendments to regulation 85(1) regarding the definition of royalty value, and regulation 86 regarding cobalt, copper and nickel. Regulation 86AB is replaced, concerning royalty value for nickel, and for cobalt and copper sold as a nickel by-product. Amendments are also made to regulation 86A regarding royalty payments.
