These regulations are the criminal procedure amendment regulations (no. 2) 2021. These regulations come into operation as follows: regulations 1 and 2 โ on the day on which these regulations are published in the gazette; the rest of the regulations โ on the day after that day. These regulations amend the criminal procedure regulations 2005. Before schedule 4 clause 1a insert: 1aa. animal welfare act 2002 offences any simple offence under the animal welfare act 2002.
