These regulations amend the Criminal Procedure Regulations 2005. Schedule 1 Form 5 is amended to replace 'send' with 'lodge with' in options 2, 3, and 4. Instructions for lodging written pleas of guilty or not guilty are updated to require lodging with the court at least 3 days before the hearing date, either via ECMS or by returning page 2 of the form to the court registry. Service details and contact details are also updated.
