The code of practice: minimising the risk of tyre fires when transporting ammonium nitrate explosion risk goods, was approved by the minister for mines and petroleum on 9 december 2024, in accordance with section 20 of the dangerous goods safety act 2004. The code of practice: minimising the risk of tyre fires when transporting ammonium nitrate explosion risk goods is published by the department of energy, mines, industry regulation and safety and is available for public inspection at the offices of the department of mines, industry regulation and safety at 1 adelaide terrace, east perth wa 6004.
