In accordance with regulation 60 of the biosecurity and agriculture management regulations 2013 (bam regulations), a quarantine area notice relating to the declared pest bactrocera (bactrocera) tryoni (queensland fruit fly or qfly) coolbellup outbreak, was published in the government gazette wa on 12 march 2021, in the west australian newspaper on 12 march 2021, and on the website of the department of primary industries and regional development on 12 march 2021. In accordance with regulation 61 of the bam regulations, that quarantine area notice is hereby revoked effective 24 may 2021.
