Pursuant to regulation 48A(1) of the Navigable Waters Regulations 1958, I cancel Notice MA401 published in the Government Gazette on 3 May 2024 and set aside the following area of water for waterskiing— Logue Brook Dam: Whilst the official water level is equal to or higher than 226 meters above the Australian Height Datum as published by the Water Corporation of Western Australia— All those waters south-west of a line through Those waters south-west of a line through 32° 59.354′S, 115° 58.730′E and 32° 59.455′S, 115° 58.915′E; (approximately 2.4 kilometres upstream from the dam wall) excluding (i) waters of the eastern arm of the dam east of a line between 32° 59.641′S, 115° 59.007′E and 32° 59.797′S, 115° 58.900′E; and(ii) waters of the south-central arm of the dam south-east of a line from 32° 59.797′S, 115° 58.900′E to 32° 59.941′S, 115° 58.586′E then to 33° 0.090′S, 115° 58.519′E; and(iii) waters in the south-west of the dam south of a line from 33° 0.184′S, 115° 57.878′E to 33° 0.115′S, 115° 57.847′E then to 33° 0.131′S, 115° 57.735′E; and (iv) waters on the north shore of the dam bounded by a line starting from 32° 59.869′S, 115° 58.201′E to 32° 59.957′S, 115° 58.254′E then to 32° 59.904′S, 115° 58.345′E then to 32° 59.763′S, 115° 58.291′E; and (v) waters within 200 metres of the main dam wall. All coordinates base on GDA2020. Logue Brook Dam: Whilst the official water level is equal to or higher than 221 meters and less than 226 meters above the Australian Height Datum as published by the Water Corporation of Western Australia— All Those waters south-west of a line through 32° 59.576′S, 115° 58.544′E and 32° 59.797′S, 115° 58.900′E; (approximately 2 kilometres upstream from the dam wall) excluding (i) waters of the south-central arm of the dam south-east of a line from 32° 59.797′S, 115° 58.900′E to 32° 59.941′S, 115° 58.586′E then to 33° 0.090′S, 115° 58.519′E; and (ii) waters in the south-west of the dam south of a line from 33° 0.184′S, 115° 57.878′E to 33° 0.115′S, 115° 57.847′E then to 33° 0.131′S, 115° 57.735′E; and(iii) waters on the north shore of the dam bounded by a line starting from 32° 59.869′S, 115° 58.201′E to 32° 59.957′S, 115° 58.254′E then to 32° 59.904′S, 115° 58.345′E then to 32° 59.763′S, 115° 58.291′E; and (iv) waters within 200 metres of the main dam wall. All coordinates base on GDA2020. Logue Brook Dam: Whilst the official water level is equal to or higher than 216 meters and less than 221 meters above the Australian Height Datum as published by the Water Corporation of Western Australia— All those waters south-west of a line through 32° 59.869′S, 115° 58.201′E and 33° 0.109′S, 115° 58.351′E (approximately 1 kilometre upstream from the dam wall) excluding (i) waters in the south-west of the dam south of a line from 33° 0.184′S, 115° 57.878′E to 33° 0.115′S, 115° 57.847′E then to 33° 0.131′S, 115° 57.735′E; and (ii) waters within 200 metres of the main dam wall. All coordinates base on GDA 2020. Providing however that skiing is not permitted with 50 metres of the foreshore except when taking off and landing. The direction of all water skiing shall be in an anti-clockwise direction and water skiing is only permitted within the hours of sunrise and sunset only. This dam is ‘Closed to Water Skiing’ when the official water level is below 216 metres above Australian Height Datum, as published by the Water Corporation of Western Australia. This notice is valid from the date of publication.
