PO401 ROAD TRAFFIC (ADMINISTRATION) ACT 2008 TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF REGULATIONS I, Bradley Richards-Scully, Acting Inspector, being the delegated officer of the Minister for Transport under Section 139 of the Road Traffic (Administration) Act 2008, pursuant to the powers conferred by Section 139 of that Act, and the consent of the Local Authorities having been obtained and nominated for the purposes of— A Tour of Margaret River—Stage 1 by members/entrants of the Cycling Eventures Pty Ltd on 31 October 2025 between the hours of 09:00 Hrs and 14:00 Hrs do hereby approve the temporary suspension of the Road Traffic Act and/or Regulations made under such act on the carriageway(s) mentioned hereunder. Racing to be confined to the left of the carriageway on— Collins Street, Station Road, Emerald Street, Goodwood Road, Upper Capel Road, Capel Street, Brookhampton Road, Sandhills Road, Donnybrook-Boyup Brook Road and South Western Highway, in Shire of Donnybrook-Balingup. Temporary suspension of the Road Traffic Act and Regulations applies to Regulation 130 (2) of the Road Traffic Code 2000 (to allow cyclists to ride in a peloton and overtake each other more than two or three abreast). Cyclists must keep left of the centre of the road, unless overtaking a slow-moving vehicle where safe to do so, in accordance with the approved traffic management plan. Event participants and officials must comply with all of the other provisions of the WA Road Traffic Act and Regulations, including compliance with posted speed limits. All participants to wear approved head protection at all times. A Tour of Margaret River—Stage 3 by members/entrants of the Cycling Eventures Pty Ltd on 2 November 2025 between the hours of 07:30 Hrs and 11:30 Hrs do hereby approve the temporary suspension of the Road Traffic Act and/or Regulations made under such act on the carriageway(s) mentioned hereunder.
