The council of the Shire of Waroona resolved on 23 July 2024 to make the following local law under the powers conferred by the Bush Fires Act 1954. This local law may be cited as the Shire of Waroona Bush Fire Brigades Local Law.

Requires landowners in the Shire of Waroona to conduct fire prevention work by November 30 each year and maintain it until April 30 the following year.
