The council of the City of Nedlands resolved on 12 December 2023 to make the following local law: City of Nedlands Dogs Local Law 2023. The City of Nedlands Dogs Local Law 2012 published in the Government Gazette on 11 October 2012 and amended in the Government Gazette on 5 July 2013 is repealed. This local law applies throughout the district.
Related notices
Exempts City of Nedlands from insurance obligations under the Workers’ Compensation and Injury Management Act 1981, except for industrial diseases.
Appoints Chaminda Mendis as an authorised officer for the City of Nedlands under the Local Government Act 1995 and the City of Nedlands Waste Local Law 2016, and cancels the appointment of Glen Carroll.
Reclassifies and rezones 14 and 16 Napier Street in Nedlands, changing zoning and residential density codes.
Varies the Bruce Trust Land indenture by adding a new clause regarding road use and application of the City of Nedlands parking local law.
