Pursuant to Section 33 of the Bush Fires Act 1954, owners and occupiers of land within the City of Armadale are required to clear firebreaks and remove flammable materials by November 30, 2018, and maintain them until March 14, 2019. Defines firebreak, flammable, trafficable, and vertical axis. Details requirements for land less than and over 5000 m2. Penalty for non-compliance is a fine not exceeding $5000.
