This local planning scheme is the Shire of Derby/West Kimberley Scheme No.9. Under section 87(4) of the Act, this local planning scheme comes into operation on the day on which it is published in the Gazette. The following local planning schemes are revoked—Shire of Derby/West Kimberley Town Planning Scheme No.5—Derby, Shire of Derby/West Kimberley Town Planning Scheme No.7—for a Special Rural Zone: Birdwood Rise & A Rural Zone, Shire of Derby/West Kimberley Interim Development Order No.9.
