These regulations amend the Radiation Safety (General) Regulations 1983. They come into operation on the day of gazettal, except for some regulations which commence when the Work Health and Safety Act 2020 section 276 comes into operation. If these regulations are inconsistent with any of the other radiation regulations, the other radiation regulations prevail.
