Informs that cancellation or suspension of accreditation renders related modifications or approvals ineffective under the Road Traffic (Vehicles) Act 2012.

I, Richard Sellers, in my capacity as Commissioner of Main Roads, for the purpose of section 46(3) of the Road Traffic (Vehicles) Act 2012, hereby give notice of the effect of the cancellation or suspension of accreditation. If section 33(4) or 40(2) requires a person to be accredited for a mass or dimension requirement to be modified or for an access approval to be given, and the accreditation is subsequently cancelled, the modification or approval is of no effect on and from the day of the cancellation of the accreditation. If section 33(4) or 40(2) requires a person to be accredited for a mass or dimension requirement to be modified or for an access approval to be given, and the accreditation is subsequently suspended, the modification or approval is of no effect for the period of the suspension. A list of individuals and companies that currently have their accreditation cancelled or suspended can be found on the Main Roads website.
