Peter Woronzow, Acting Commissioner of Main Roads, makes an order in accordance with Section 33 of the Road Traffic (Vehicles) Act 2012 for the modification of mass requirements for particular 2 axle fire trucks, subject to conditions. The order applies to fire trucks with specific axle and tyre configurations and spacing. The steer axle may exceed 6.0 tonnes, but not 7.1 tonnes, and the drive axle may exceed 9.0 tonnes, but not 10.6 tonnes. Fire trucks may be driven on any road in Western Australia, except over bridges listed in the 2 Axle Fire Truck Restricted Structures.
