It is hereby notified for public information that the Western Australian Planning Commission has certified and recommended that, for the purpose of advancing the planning, development and use of the land described below, it should be made the subject of Improvement Plan No. 55—Bennett Springs East. The improvement plan area comprises the land depicted on Western Australian Planning Commission plan numbered 3.2773. The purpose of this improvement plan is to enable a coordinated approach to planning and development at Bennett Springs East, ensure that rail infrastructure is delivered in an efficient manner and to facilitate future development of a contemporary transit oriented development in the surrounding precinct. The recommendation has been accepted by the Minister for Planning and the Governor. Improvement Plan No.—55 Bennett Springs East is effective on and from the date of this gazettal.
