The City of Joondalup resolved on 19 November 2019 to make the following local law. The purpose of this local law is to amend certain provisions within the City of Joondalup Local Government and Public Property Local Law 2014. The effect of this local law is to enable the local government to make a determination as to specific local government property throughout the district where drones cannot be launched from.

Requires all land owners and occupiers within the City of Joondalup to remove inflammable material and clear firebreaks by October 31st annually to control bushfires.
Prohibits the burning of garden refuse or rubbish within the City of Joondalup at all times during the year.
Appoints Bush Fire Control Officers for the City of Joondalup under the Bush Fires Act 1954.
Approves amendment to City of Joondalup Local Planning Scheme No. 3 regarding short-term rental accommodation.
