The Council of the Shire of Lake Grace resolved on 20 February 2019 to make the following local law. This local law amends the Shire of Lake Grace Animals, Environment and Nuisance Local Law 2016 as published in the Government Gazette on 20 December 2016. Clause 3.7 and 4.14 are amended.

Requires landowners and occupiers in the Shire of Lake Grace to install and maintain firebreaks and reduce fuel loads by November 1, 2020, and maintain them until April 30, 2021.
Varies retail trading hours in the Shire of Lake Grace during the Christmas period, allowing extended hours except on Christmas Day.
Appoints Brad Watson and Wes Hall as Fire Weather Officers for the Shire of Lake Grace for the 2020/2021 bush fire season.
Authorises general retail shops in Lake Grace to open at specified times during the Christmas period when they would otherwise be closed.
