The Shire of Nannup prohibits burning garden refuse during Prohibited Burning Times and restricts it during Restricted Burning Times without a Fire Permit. Camping and cooking fires are prohibited during the prohibited period and when the Fire Danger Rating is High or above. Landowners must comply with the Bushfire Risk Compliance Notice from December 1 to April 30, with variations possible until November 1. Non-compliance carries a penalty of up to $5,000.
