These regulations amend the Home Building Contracts Regulations 1992. The prescribed limit for insurance for loss of deposit for a builder is $40 000. The prescribed minimum amount of insurance cover for a builder is $200 000. The prescribed minimum amount of insurance cover for an owner-builder is $200 000. Schedule 1 is amended to update the location of the Act.
