Pursuant to Section 33 of the Bush Fires Act 1954, owners and occupiers of land within the City of Armadale are required to clear firebreaks and remove flammable materials by November 30, 2020, and maintain them until March 31, 2021. Details on firebreak dimensions and requirements are specified for land over and under 5000m2. Penalties for non-compliance may reach $5000.
