Notice is given to landowners/occupiers within the Shire of Moora to comply with directives to reduce bushfire risk by November 1 annually, maintained until March 29 annually under s. 33 of the Bush Fires Act 1954. Failure to comply may incur penalties up to $5000. Requirements include slashing, asset protection, clean gutters, and fire breaks. Compliance inspection will be carried out by Fire Control Officers as of November 1 annually.
