These regulations are the sentencing amendment regulations 2019. These regulations come into operation as follows โ (a) regulations 1 and 2 โ on the day on which these regulations are published in the gazette; (b) the rest of the regulations โ on the day on which the consumer protection legislation amendment act 2019 section 3 comes into operation. These regulations amend the sentencing regulations 1996. In schedule 2 in the item for the street collections (regulation) act 1940 delete โs. 8โ and insert: s. 3(1), 6
