Designates the Commissioner for Consumer Protection as the 'Commissioner' for the purposes of the Acts in Schedule A.

In my capacity as Minister for Commerce and acting pursuant to the power of designation conferred on me by the particular sections of the Acts in Schedule A, I provide as follows— 1. I revoke all previous designations made pursuant to the particular sections of the Acts in Schedule A; and 2. I designate as the ‘Commissioner’ for the purposes of the Acts in Schedule A the person who from time to time holds (either substantively or in an acting capacity) the position of ‘Commissioner for Consumer Protection (MIS25000)’ in the Department responsible for the administration of those Acts; and 3. For the purposes of each of the Acts in Schedule A, the ‘Commissioner’ shall be known as ‘Commissioner for Consumer Protection’; and 4. This instrument may be amended or revoked in writing by the Minister for Commerce.
