These regulations are the Electricity Amendment Regulations 2018 and amend the Electricity Regulations 1947. They come into operation in two parts: Part 1 on the day of gazettal, and the rest on 1 January 2019. Key changes include updated definitions for terms like 'active conductor', 'appliance', 'premises', and requirements for residual current devices in residential premises and transportable structures.
