Ministerial direction to the Electricity Generation and Retail Corporation regarding the Renewable Energy Buyback Scheme (REBS). The corporation must continue to purchase renewable source electricity from existing REBS customers and offer to purchase from eligible REBS applicants. New applications will be received for a limited period. The REBS buyback rate is 7.1350 cents per kWh, exclusive of GST.
