In accordance with regulation 60 of the Biosecurity and Agriculture Management Regulations 2013, a Quarantine Area Notice (QAN) relating to Queensland fruit fly was published in the Gazette on 6 December 2024. Clause 1 of the QAN is amended by extending the end date to 6 October 2025. Clause 3 of the QAN is amended with respect to the “Corrective action zone” by deleting and replacing the border description. The amended QAN is available on DPIRD’s website.
