It is hereby notified for public information, in accordance with section 87 of the Planning and Development Act 2005 that the Minister for Planning approved the Shire of Victoria Plains Town Planning Scheme amendment on 27 July 2017 for the purpose of deleting clauses from the scheme text, inserting reference to the deemed provisions, inserting schedule A, amending clauses, deleting and replacing terms, modifying use classes, and modifying the dictionary of defined words and expressions.

Requires landowners/occupiers in the Shire of Victoria Plains to comply with bushfire risk reduction directives by March 29 annually.
Requires installation of firebreaks and fuel hazard reduction measures before October 1 and maintained until March 31.
Adopts the Shire of Victoria Plains Meeting Procedures Local Law 2018.
Corrects the title of the Bush Fire Brigades Amendment Local Law 2018.
