Acting pursuant to the powers conferred by Section 67 of the Western Australian Marine Act 1982, I hereby cancel Notice MA401 as published on 8 January 2016 and limit the speed of motor vessels to five (5) knots within the following area until further notice— Swan River: All waters of the Swan River between Heirisson Island and the East Perth foreshore bounded by a line through 31°57.697′S, 115°53.058′E and 31°57.716′S, 115°53.088’E (the port and starboard beacons approximately 350 metres upstream of the Causeway) and the Windan Bridge, excluding those waters contained within the Western Australian Powered Water Sports Area as published in Notice MA403* of the Government Gazette dated 27 February 2015. Providing however that all commercial vessels may operate in the above restricted speed area to a maximum of 8 knots during this time.
