Under regulation 60 of the Biosecurity and Agriculture Management Regulations 2013, an area within the boundaries described is declared a quarantine area for 12 months following publication due to the presence of carpet sea squirt (Didemnum vexillum). Movement of potential carriers from the area is restricted except under specific conditions. Failure to comply could result in a fine or remedial action.
