It is hereby notified for public information, in accordance with section 87 of the Planning and Development Act 2005 that the Minister for Planning approved the abovementioned amendment to the Shire of Northam Local Planning Scheme No. 6 on 4 November 2025 for the purpose of reclassifying Part Lot 600 on Deposited Plan 427356 from ‘Public Purposes: Church’ to ‘Residential’ R30, inserting into Schedule 2 (Additional Uses) the text regarding Tourist Accommodation, amending Schedule 1, clause 2 ‘land use definitions’ and amending the Scheme Map.
