Closes waters of Koombana Bay Beach to motorised vessels within 50 metres of the shore, with an exception for commercial vessels accessing the beach adjacent to the Dolphin Discovery Centre.

Pursuant to section 66 of the Western Australian Marine Act 1982, I cancel Notice MA404 published in the Government Gazette on 23 December 2011 and Notice MA404 published in the Government Gazette on 20 December 2013 and close the waters to motorised vessels in the following area—Koombana Bay Beach: Those waters of Koombana Bay within 50 metres of the shore and bounded in the east by a line through 33°19.212′S, 115°39.013′E and 33°19.185′S, 115°39.013′E and in the west by the groyne adjacent to the Koombana Bay Sailing Club. This closure does not apply to commercial vessels accessing the beach adjacent to the Dolphin Discovery centre to board and disembark passengers associated with tours administered by the Dolphin Discovery Centre. This notice is valid from the date of publication.
