Landowners in the Shire of Wyndham East Kimberley are required to carry out fire prevention work as detailed in this order, to be completed by 1 July 2017. Failure to comply may result in a penalty of $250 or prosecution with an increased penalty up to $1000. Application may be made to Council not later than 1 April each year for permission to provide firebreaks in alternative positions or to take alternative action to reduce fire hazards on the land.
