I, Jackie Jarvis, exercising my power of designation under section 45 of the Industrial Hemp Act 2004 (the act), hereby designate the person holding or acting in the office of assistant director, biosecurity governance, strategy and performance, in the department of primary industries and regional development, as the registrar, for the purposes of the act. This notice of designation revokes and replaces the notice published in the government gazette on 15 december 2023.
