Acting pursuant to the powers conferred by Section 67 of the Western Australian Marine Act 1982, I hereby cancel Notice MA402 as published in the Government Gazette on 2 August 2011 and hereby limit the speed of all motorised vessels to eight (8) knots within the following areas: those waters of the Indian Ocean bounded by the shore and a line commencing at 24°54.531′S, 113°39.763′E (on the groyne west of the racecourse); thence to 24°55.398′S, 113°39.617′E (approximately 1.6 kilometres southerly); thence to24°54.482′S, 113°37.660′E (approximately 3.7 kilometres west-north-westerly); thence to 24°52.656′S, 113°36.710′E (approximately 3.7 kilometres north-westerly); thence to 24°52.441′S, 113°37.087′E (approximately 750 metres east-north-easterly); but excluding the gazetted 5 knot speed restriction areas in the Carnarvon Fishing Boat Harbour and its entrance channel and in the Fascine. All coordinates based on GDA94.
