Pursuant to regulation 9b of the pearling (general) regulations 1991, in order to assist the commercial pearling industry to manage the impact of the covid-19 pandemic, i, heather brayford, as delegate of the chief executive officer of the department of primary industries and regional development, consider it appropriate to do so and do hereby waive the surcharge specified below until 31 march 2021. the surcharge of 3.13% of the annual fee as outlined under clause 4(3) of the pearling (annual fees) notice 2021.
