The Western Australian Planning Commission (WAPC) is seeking public comment on a proposal to amend the Metropolitan Region Scheme (MRS) for land currently reserved as Primary Regional Roads (PRR), known as Roe 8 and Roe 9, in the local government areas of Cockburn and Fremantle. The amendment proposes to reclassify portions of the PRR reservation and some nearby Urban zoned land to the Parks and Recreation reservation. Other portions of the PRR reservation and nearby Parks and Recreation reservation are proposed to be transferred to the Urban zone.
