Notice to all owners and/or occupiers of land within the City of Subiaco. Pursuant to Section 33 of the Bush Fires Act 1954, you are required on or before 1 November 2026, or within fourteen (14) days of becoming the owner or occupier after 1 November 2026, and thereafter up to and including 31 March 2027, to remove all inflammable matter from the land by ploughing, cultivating or slashing to a height of no more than 50mm. Applications for variation must be submitted by 31 October 2026. Failure to comply incurs a fine up to $5,000 and liability for work costs. Additionally, Dean Bradshaw, Andrew Haynes, and all City of Subiaco Rangers are appointed as Bush Fire Control Officers.
