Under the powers conferred on it by the Waste Avoidance and Resource Recovery Act 2007, the Local Government Act 1995 and under all other enabling powers, the Council of the Shire of Waroona resolved on 27 April 2021 to make the following local law. This is the Shire of Waroona Waste Local Law 2021. This local law comes into operation 14 days after the date of its publication in the Government Gazette.

Requires landowners in the Shire of Waroona to conduct fire prevention work by November 30 each year and maintain it until April 30 the following year.
Approves rezoning of land parcels in Waroona from Rural 5—Darling Range to Rural 1— General Farming and Rural 8—Hills Landscape Protection.
Enacts the Shire of Waroona Meeting Procedures Local Law 2020 to govern council and committee meetings.
Cancels notice MA401 regarding water skiing area at Waroona Dam.
