These regulations amend the Waste Avoidance and Resource Recovery Levy Regulations 2008. Regulation 5 is amended regarding waste accepted by the licensee at no charge and used to cover waste disposed of at the licensed landfill. A licensee may claim an exemption for uncontaminated soil or other clean fill received at a licensed landfill before the day on which the Waste Avoidance and Resource Recovery Levy Amendment Regulations 2020 regulation 4 comes into operation.
