It is hereby notified for public information, in accordance with section 87 of the Planning and Development Act 2005 that the Minister for Planning approved the abovementioned amendment to the Shire of Wyndham-East Kimberley Local Planning Scheme No. 9 on 7 July 2026 for the purpose of amending definitions for various accommodation types, deleting certain land use terms, inserting new terms like 'tourist and visitor accommodation' and 'short-term rental accommodation', and updating the Zoning Table and Additional Uses Schedule accordingly.
