🏥 A Review of Safety and Quality the WA Health System

WA Health contracted Ernst & Young for $226,310 to review system-wide safety and quality governance and strategic priorities under the new Health Services Act 2

The review will focus on the effectiveness of system-wide governance arrangements and strategic priorities for safety and quality in the WA health system in light of a newly established devolved governance model under the Health Services Act 2016. The review is to include assessment, analysis and provide recommendations for WA Health system-wide arrangements for safety and quality including, but may not be limited to: roles, responsibilities and accountabilities as per legislative and other requirements including national frameworks, agreements and schemes system policies and standards system oversight and assurance mechanisms for safety and quality including supporting governance arrangements, monitoring and benchmarking, licensing and accreditation for safety and quality; and system-wide strategic priorities for safety and quality including promoting and supporting system-wide improvement and innovation.

The Department of Health (Royal Street) awarded a $226,310 (Fixed Price) contract via the 'Other CUA23706' procurement method to Ernst & Young Western Australia (Ernst & Young). There was only one submission for this contract.
