🚆 Claremont PLC Upgrade

PTA awarded Schneider Electric a $58,300 fixed-price contract for a PLC upgrade at Claremont, involving project management and engineering compliance.

The Contractor is responsible for liaising and notifying relevant PTA operations management and maintenance sections and relevant PTA operators for any temporary disruption or any issues that may occur due to this work. All the services described herein shall comply with all specifications mentioned in Section 1.5.2. The Contractor shall supply works which include but not limited to: General Responsibilities Production of Project Specific Program/Gantt Chart and relevant updates as required; Fortnightly project progress meeting to be held at Public Transport Centre (PTC), a Contractor performance report (included with this RFQ) shall be filled by the Contractor, discussed and signed by both parties, indicating safety performance of the project; Compliance with PTA document 8110-100-013 Procedure for Engineering Management (PEM), this includes, but not limited to, the following: The Contractor shall nominate Supplier Engineering Manager (SEM) and Supplier Responsible Engineer (SRE); SEM, SRE, Designer, and Verifier/Checker responsibilities and tasks as per PTA document 8110-100-013; SEM shall have robust process for Interdisciplinary Design Check (IDC) during design development to IFC stage; SEM and SRE participation in a joint IDC/IDR exercise of the design. Please refer to Section 6 in Part A for Stakeholder Consultation and various meetings involved; Please refer to Section 3 in Part B for proposed payment and staging. The Contractor shall include all required resources in the quotation to satisfy the scope of works, this includes provision of electrician for assistance during commissioning (where applicable).
